Terms and Conditions

Designs shown are copyright of Longheart Invitations. Images may not be reproduced without the express permission of Longheart Invitations. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the customer to obtain permission for the use of any images, readings, poems or lyrics provided to Longheart Invitations e.g. For Orders of Service, poems etc.

Delivery to certain postcodes e.g. Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of White, Isle of Man and some parts of Scotland will incur additional delivery charges. UK delivery only. I always use  Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. If you wish to pay extra and use DPD please let me know before I print your order. No delivery dates can be guaranteed.

Delivery times will fluctuate.  Longheart Invitations always try to accommodate your needs wherever possible, but please allow as much time as possible when placing your order  to avoid disappointment. Delays will be natural if the customer takes more than a few days to approve an emailed proof/s. No delivery time is guaranteed and Longheart Invitations cannot be held responsible if an order arrives later than expected due to the courier service or other unforeseen delays or issues.

​All orders are covered for accidental loss or damage during delivery, but not for delayed deliveries. Damaged items must be returned to Longheart Invitations at the cost of the customer before refunds are considered.

​If the couriers are unable to deliver to your address, the item will be returned to Longheart Invitations at the expense of the purchaser of the goods and subject to a re-delivery cost to be paid by the customer (the return cost if there is one, plus a new delivery charge). Therefore please provide a delivery address where you will be available to receive your items, or a delivery address where a reliable person will be able to sign for it. All deliveries are tracked.

Longheart Invitations cannot be held responsible for the natural ageing of products nor be held responsible for how our products are handled by the postal system.

​Longheart Invitations will endeavour to supply services and products as agreed but cannot be held liable for situations beyond its control, for example discontinued materials, actions of any government, postal disputes, Act of God, War, epidemic or pandemic or a related consequence, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, or other causes beyond the control of Longheart Invitations.

Longheart Invitations will not refund customers due to cancellation, delay or rearrangement of weddings/ceremonies or events under any circumstances at all due to situations beyond its control, for example discontinued materials, actions of any government, postal disputes, Act of God, War, epidemic or pandemic or a related consequence, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, Death, Bereavement or Illness, or other causes beyond the control of Longheart Invitations. The customer places an order at their own risk.

Please note that colours viewed on an electronic screen are only a representation due to differences in monitor settings, therefore exact colour matches are not always possible and stationery may print in different shades/colours to those displayed on your electronic device, laptop, tablet or home computer, therefore it is always sensible to request a sample before placing your order.

 

Longheart Invitations advise that you check your proofs on a device large enough to enable you to see all aspects of the design and text clearly. It is NOT recommended checking your proofs on a mobile phone screen! Please feel free to print your proofs out if this helps with the checking process.

Please familiarise yourself with the sizes of all items ordered (these are stated clearly on your quote). Please be aware it may be necessary for you to fold some envelopes in half when sending them to your guests to use to reply to you.

​Text required on your items should be typed clearly and sent to Longheart Invitations using the contact form under the Contact Tab or to an email supplied by Longheart Invitations.  Longheart Invitations is not responsible for any errors or omissions, spelling or otherwise in the final agreed drafts, it is the customers responsibility to inform me or any errors or omissions on their proofs BEFORE printing goes ahead. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all of their required details/information are on each item before they go to print.

​It is the responsibility of the client to check the proofs for errors and omissions in the text, approve the text size and to highlight any issues with the design including placement of images and text. Any issues should be detailed clearly by email with reference to the proof by the file name PRIOR to printing.   As all products are personalised, refunds and exchanges CANNOT be made, please keep this in mind when ordering. It may be possible to change/alter your order BEFORE it goes to print. After your items go to print no changes can be made and no refunds or exchanges can be given. Re-prints items will incur further costs to be paid by the customer.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Longheart Invitations is not responsible for any errors or omissions not found by the client during the proofing/checking stage, an order cannot be refunded because of errors or omissions NOT spotted by the customer or by Longheart Invitations at the proofing stage. If the customer requires any re-prints this will incur further charges.

Law and Jurisdiction

Contracts for the purchase of products through Longheart Invitations and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English Law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
